Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Stylist Connect, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this service.

Use License

Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of Stylist Connect for personal, non-commercial use only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:

• Modify or copy the materials
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notations
• Transfer the materials to another person
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws

Account Registration

User Conduct

You agree not to use Stylist Connect to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Violate any local, state, national, or international law
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform
• Scrape, data mine, or collect user information
• Impersonate another person or entity

Community Guidelines

Stylist Connect is a professional community for stylists and salon owners. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. The following are strictly prohibited anywhere on the platform — including profiles, listings, applications, photos, messages, and any other user-generated content:

• Hate speech, slurs, or content that targets individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability
• Harassment, threats, bullying, intimidation, or stalking of any user
• Sexual or sexually suggestive content; nudity; solicitation of sexual services
• Content that sexualizes or endangers minors in any way (immediate ban and report to authorities)
• Violence, gore, or content that promotes or glorifies self-harm
• Illegal activity, including drug sales, human trafficking, or fraud
• Spam, scams, phishing, or deceptive job postings
• Personal information of others (doxing) shared without consent
• Impersonation of other people, salons, or brands
• Content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights

Reporting Violations

If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, you can:

• Tap the ⋯ menu on any listing, profile, or message in the app and choose Report
• Email moderation@stylistconnectapp.com with details and screenshots
• Use the in-app Block feature to immediately stop interaction with another user

Our Response

We are committed to a safe community and we act on every report:

• Reports are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours
• Content that violates these guidelines is removed
• Users who post objectionable content or who engage in abusive behavior will have their accounts suspended or permanently banned
• For content involving minors or imminent harm, we cooperate fully with law enforcement
• We may pre-screen content using automated filters but do not pre-screen all content; reporting helps us keep the community safe

Content and Intellectual Property

Job Postings and Applications

Stylist Connect serves as a platform to connect stylists and salons but is not responsible for:

• The accuracy of job postings or user profiles
• The outcome of job applications or hiring decisions
• Employment relationships between users
• Disputes between stylists and salon owners
• Verification of credentials, licenses, or qualifications

Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and verifying information independently.

Disclaimer

The materials on Stylist Connect are provided on an 'as is' basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Stylist Connect or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use our service, even if we have been notified of the possibility of such damage.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Extended periods of inactivity
• At our sole discretion for any reason

You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stylist Connect, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
